BLASTING TROUT OVERBITE

Blasting Trout Overbite was formed in late 2000 at Penn State University by Arthur Bond, Matt Brewster, Dan Jircitano and John Plasket. Additional members were later welcomed into the group, including April Brennan, Paul Thompson, a trombone player known as Foodbag, and a myriad of guests. From 2000 to 2005 the group recorded hundreds (if not thousands) of songs, most of which are still available online via their defunct website. During this time they also played a handful of concerts. With graduation looming in spring 2005, they rallied their forces for one final album, YES, which included songs old and new. In July 2006 they played their final show, and not long afterward some of its members revived an old side-project called Fewn, which now carries on the BTO spirit. Blasting Trout Overbite may record again.
